From what I've seen of Sanderson in person, his top chin overlaps his bottom chin, and his gut is overlapping his belt line.

ANNOMALY - Thank you for posting the '61 Awake quotes! For as much research as I've done on this subject, I don't think I've ever come across those before. Amazing.
I believe that bound volume is up in the attic. . .

ooh, mugger money like at NYC Bethel. - BLONDIE
You're talking about Brooklyn Bethel 20-30 years ago.
Closest you'll come to being mugged in Brooklyn now is a hipster charging you $4 for a coffee.
Amazing how "this system" is just getting worse by the minute. . . .

Where were you? / How old were you?... during the Ray Franz witch trial?
by Zoos ini was 13yo and largely clueless to what was going on.
i think i remember hearing something about an apostate being weeded out of bethel but really couldn't have cared less.
i didn't start getting zealous until a couple of years later.. .

I think I was 10 or 11. . . . I remember a bethelite talking with glee, practically giddy with the idea that "apostates" were "rooted out" from among jehovas people like "rats from a sewer." . . .. . .
Even then I thought to myself, This guy is friggin insane!

FYI, links to photos of jw.org signs on top of WT buildings
by AndersonsInfo inyesterday, on the thread i started on 4/15/14, http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/279088/1/essay-by-barbara-anderson-whats-in-a-name#.u1e98jao7l9 that introduces a recent article i wrote which is posted on www.watchtowerdocuments.org , i thought i made an inaccurate statement in one of my posts about wt having a sign, jw.org, on the top of one of their buildings.
i was sure i had seen a photo of such a sign but couldn't prove it until last night when proof was sent to me in an email and the proof is to be found in the form of links to photos of the sign.
i was wrong in thinking the sign was on a wt factory building.

"I wonder what Jehovah's reasoning is. He isn't a cool, sophisticated god who can hold his own in NYC."- BOTR
Evidently, Jehovah is no Hipster.

THE GRAND APOSTATE "WALKOUT" - January 1, 2015
by RagingBull inafter knowing ttatt for many years now...i had made up my mind long ago that after 2014, i would no-longer subject myself to the boredom, pain, and frustration of following this cult...the wt...the borg.. so...i made up my mind that since the wtbts/gb makes such a big deal as to the "significance" of the year 1914 and this year 2014, there can be no greater time for me to leave it all behind.
i daydreamed of how awesome and telling it would be if everyone that could ( because i do know that some have personal circumstances of their own, as i did too) would just .... walkout...never to attend/step foot in a kingdom hall from that moment on.. independence day of sorts?
there is too much evidence, too many videos, blogs, books, news reports and lawsuits for me to keep lying to myself.

I like the idea of setting a date if you want to go out with a bit of a "bang."
The society has been setting dates for over a century, why not set your own!

"If you had not accepted the truth, you would to this day be hopeless and unhappy." - William Malenfent (surely a future GB candidate)
This is truly the biggest lie of all, and one of the scare tactics that keeps people in.
Black and White Thinking and Emotional Control all neatly wrapped up into one short sentence.

I know folks who are involved the "table work" in NYC, and what matters most to them is the numbers (no surprise). They might place 80 books a day and 100 magazines. This is impressive to them, they're getting the word out, at least that's what they believe.
I told them Wow, that's pretty impressive! But how many bible studies have been started that have progressed to the point of baptism in the past 2 years of your congregation doing this?
Answer: none.
So in hte end, thousands of hours have been spent, tens of thousands of pieces of literature have been placed, hundreds of conversations have occured (yes, some New Yorkers do stop and talk. But more often than not they are quite on "the fringe" if you catch my drift) and in the end, the final result is: 0.
